Four of their five kids were born in the same city I was born in. He taught physics at my high school. And we all met up again years later in Bellingham, WA. He is now my Stake President. Its a small world.

Jen saved my life (and my children's...and D's) She dropped everything for a few days and took care of our lives while I was out of commission with an awful back injury. Pictures of Jen and her son was the least I could do!

Narrowing these down was brutal! So I just posted A LOT! These people are some of our best friends. We met them in college and have stayed in great contact. We manage to see each other a couple of times a year even though we live far away. Just thinking about how much I love them makes me smile. Wish we lived closer!

Remember this sweet little girl from her two year photo shoot? And this growing boy from his newborn photoshoot? I even took his three month pictures, but never posted them. I love repeats. I love watching them grow from shoot to shoot. Babies grow so fast!

Emily is full of energy! She might be the most lively little girl I've ever met! However, we managed to wrangle her in for a few looks at the camera. As for little Cam...he would hardly take his eyes off his Momma. It was so charming. He watched her most of the shoot. If Daddy was holding him, he was glued to Mommy. So sweet. I'm so happy with how they turned out!

Enjoy a peek at the A. family! We had a lot of fun doing this shoot. The two youngest LOVED to cheese nice and big for the camera. They were all naturals! I loved how these turned out.

There were so many adorable photos of this family that I literally put up whatever pictures I picked at random. I couldn't even begin to to narrow it down to choose my favorites! We had so much fun doing this photo shoot! We even brought the dog in for a few.

I had the pleasure of taking pictures for a family we go to church with. We got to visiting after the photo shoot and some how discovered that she and my sister were roommates in college! We laughed about how my sister was a really bad cook and managed to ruin easy mac...(she has improved!) and talked about their old memories and boyfriends! It is certainly a small world! What a coincidence. We've lived here for almost a year and had no idea we had any connection.

It has been so long since I have posted any photo shoots! It has been a busy fall so far, and I've neglected updating with photo shoots.

These pictures are like eye candy! The family is absolutely beautiful and even though the littlest one didn't want his picture taken, the pictures turned out great!

These two just celebrated five years of marriage! They never had any engagement or wedding photos. So I was REALLY excited to give them a treat of nice pictures. Everyone deserves to have some nice pictures taken of themselves!!

They were so easy to work with and obviously so in love.

They couldn't keep their hands off each other...made my job easy!

Meet this stunning set of twins.

We had a great time talking about senioritis, being a twin, and post college plans. In front of a camera these two were naturals!

It was charming to see the sweet bond they have and to hear that they are best friends. Between heaven and earth, my babies were only separated for four months. That makes them ALMOST twins. I hope they have a similar bond.

We were over playing with friends this morning and they had the most amazing wooden rocking chair. So on our way out I snapped a few pics of V.

This girl would not sit still long enough to get even one shot on the amazing chair. Nope, she wanted on the tricycle. Then a second later she was off to something new. She rarely looks at the camera, and never smiles on demand. Definitely not a cheeser. However, once I pull the pictures up I am pleased with what I get, because they capture her.

I love taking yummy pictures. Especially of my own kids. You know the kind that radiate emotion. These are V. She is a busy body. She has the sweetest curls. Her eyes are always smiling. She loves life and walks around with a big grin on her face all the time.

I just got back from a photo shoot and I was so excited about the pictures that I couldn't wait to start editing! Luckily it was nap time for the kids.

Keala wanted to do family pictures at Whatcom Falls. I thought this was the perfect choice, because it screams "Washington!" We live in the middle of a forrest. It is this beautiful here.

The longer I have done photography the more simple my taste and style has become. For me photography is meant to tell a story. It is meant to capture life as it is. Photoshop editing is fun and some of it is necessary, but I like to leave my coloring as is. Just the way I shoot it. Just the way it was captured. It gives it a natural feel, a real feel.

I told them they would look back at these pictures one day and remember they were taken while living in Washington. You can't deny it!

These boys are charming. They were super cooperative and we only had to pull out a bribe once at the very end of the shoot!
